SCHOOL GETS NEW PLAYGROUND COURT— Superintendent Skip Bremer shared this information about work being done at Osmond Community School: The business of school seems to continue even through the summer. If you’ve driven by the school recently, you may have noticed some contractors. One of our projects this summer included replacing the concrete on the playground and outside basketball court. The original concrete was put into place years ago thanks to several of our staff, coaches, and “O” Club and served us very well — they did a great job putting it in years ago. As it does with all things, time took its toll and we had several potential tripping hazards develop that needed to be replaced. Along with the new playground court, our students will enjoy three adjustable basketball hoops. This will allow play for all the K-6 students who daily use that space at recess. We will also be adding more of the crumb rubber for the playground. I want to thank our board members and staff for making student safety and the upkeep of our property a priority. I can’t wait to see our students enjoying the updated area.
