WAYNE – A rural Wausa native recently received two Wayne State College scholarships.
Kilee Thorell has been awarded a $5,000 Gardner Foundation Academic Scholarship and a $1,000 Leland E. and Margaret J. Dannals Endowed Scholarship.
A 2023 graduate of Wausa High School, Kilee is going into her sophomore year and majoring in pre-medicine/chemistry health.
She is the daughter of Marty and Kristal Thorell.
