INDIANAPOLIS — Mike Grein, a 1999 graduate of Osmond High School, was honored recently by being named Teacher of the Year at Lutheran High School of Indianapolis (LHSI). The award was presented by Head Master Michael Brandt. This award was voted on by the students, faculty and parents of LHSI.
In November, Mike was also named the outstanding educator for LHSI and was honored at the state championship football game there.
Mike was the AP history and social studies teacher at LHSI for four years, as well as student council advisor, until resigning this year to take a position in Fremont, NE. His family includes wife Sara and sons Isaiah, 16; Josiah, 14, and Levi, 10.
