OSMOND — The annual Summerfest celebration will be held on Saturday, June 29. This year, it will take place at Poolside Park, as well as at the Osmond ballfields.
Morning Activities
The day will begin with a mud volleyball tournament at 9 a.m. at the softball field. A Chrome N Smoke truck show will take place at 10 a.m. and throughout the afternoon. Reiman’s Coffee will be available in the morning, and a food truck will also be here.
Afternoon/Evening Events Afternoon activities will include bounce houses, face painting, a fire department activity, open swimming and pool games, and the evening meal, which will be catered by Tiger Tavern.
The meal, for which a freewill offering is asked, will include pulled pork sandwiches or hot dogs, macaroni salad, baked beans, chips and beverage.
Real Reptiles
Also on tap is a Real Reptiles show beginning at 2:30 p.m., where the audience will learn about snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises and crocodilians during a hands-on program. Real Reptiles provides programs for schools, libraries, county fairs and more. They recently presented a program at Osmond Community School.

Ganseboom Concludes Evening At the conclusion of Summerfest activities, the public is invited to watch the fireworks show put on and presented by Ganseboom.
