OSMOND — The annual Summerfest celebration is scheduled for Saturday, June 29. Some of the usual activities will return again this year; however, some changes are planned.
Once again this year, there will not be a parade. Activities will take place at both the baseball and softball fields and at Poolside Park, and the evening meal will be catered by Tiger Tavern.
The pancake feed, hosted by the Osmond Volunteer Fire Department will still be held on the usual fourth weekend in June, which is this Sunday, June 23, the day after the biennial alumni reunion. A separate article on this page gives details on the pancake feed.
Flyers for Summerfest, listing events and times, have been distributed around town.Acomplete list of events will be printed in next week’s paper.
