WAUSA – Area children recently went “Scuba Diving into Friendship with God” in Wausa.
That was the theme of the 2024 edition of Wausa Community Vacation Bible School, which was held on the mornings of June 3-7 at Evangelical Covenant Church.
The Community VBS is put on each year by Wausa’s three churches and is an event that brings many children together to either be part of the Community VBS or work and teach during the event. The Community VBS committee members this year were Kerry Frevert, Jaime Kimmons, Leanna Munter, Rebecca Munter, Carla Wilken and Rita Woockman, with Woockman having served on the committee for almost 20 years.
