LINCOLN — Nine Osmond Tiger student-athletes received NCPA Academic All-State awards for fall activities recently, as part of the state’s continued effort to recognize outstanding achievement within its member schools.
Of the Osmond student-athletes, one was nominated for girls’cross country, and two each were nominated for boys’ cross country, football, volleyball, Unified Bowling, and one-acts. One student — Callie Hoffman — was nominated in three categories.
The sponsor from each activity was responsible for nominating students participating in his or her given activity based on high academic achievement.
Two of those honored included senior Callie Hoffman and junior Ella von Rentzell for Unified Bowling, while junior KeliAschoff was selected for girls’ cross country.
Also selected were senior Matthew Alderson and sophomore Jack Berg for boys’ cross country, and seniors Hoffman and Anna Kahny for volleyball.
In addition, juniors Cody Gansebom and Jaxon Vinson were chosen to be honored for football, and seniors Hoffman and Anabelle Vinson were honored for one-acts.
