Nominations are being accepted for the 2024 Hall of Fame Award for the Pierce County Agricultural Society.
Rules for the award provide that nominations can be made for individuals, couples, families, organizations, or business firms within the boundar ies of the county who have provided outstanding service to the cause of the Pierce County Fair now or in the past.
The Hall of Fame committee and executive board of the Pierce County Agricultural Society reviews all nominations and selects a nominee for the Hall of Fame Award. The award will be limited to one each year. Selection shall be kept secret and will be announced at the 2024 Pierce County Fair.
In the event of the nomination of a deceased person, the rules indicate the nomination must be made for consideration no later than the second fair following the death of the individual.
Nominations should be sent to Hall of Fame committee members: Larry Foster, Plainview; Scott Fritz, Plainview; or Nick Schroth, Plainview by July 10.
