Chairman Lewon suggested the group form a committee to develop slate cards for national, state and local races. This group would vet these candidates to ensure they best represent its values at each of these levels. Lewon appointed vice-chair Amy Codr to lead this committee and three members volunteered to serve.

Lewon also suggested the formation of a central committee of the party. This committee is important to keep the executive committee in check and to satisfy the Constitution’s requirement that a central committed be formed. The group will aim to form this committee at its July meeting. Members were encouraged to volunteer.

Prior to adjournment, ideas were shared to increase membership from precincts not yet represented in the group.

The next meeting will be held Tuesday, June 4, at 7 p.m. in the Pierce Public Library. — Lisa Linville Pierce Co. GOP Secretary to our Friends Delores Reed, June 2, 1928. Residing at P.O. Box 219, Plainview, NE 68769.
