OSMOND — Callie Hoffman of Osmond has been awarded the John G. Neihardt Scholarship from Wayne State College. The Neihardt Scholarship includes a full tuition award, up to 18 credit hours per semester for four years, along with full cost of housing.
In order to uphold this scholarship throughout all four years of college, a student must maintain a grade point average of 3.25. This scholarship also requires participation in the Honors program, which offers select courses, exceptional opportunities, and special academic advising.
Callie has participated in the following activities throughout her high-school career, four years of vol- leyball and softball; Unified Bowling and chorus, three years; FBLA, two years; yearbook/mass media, one act play production, and track and field, one year.
Callie is the daughter of Terry and Kayla Hoffman. She plans to attend Wayne State College for four years majoring in business marketing.
