Eight students named to Academic All-State

OSMOND – The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) has announced the student recipients of the spring 2024 Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association (NCPA) Academic All-State Awards. Since 2006 this NSAA Awards Program has recognized students who meet the criteria for nomination by their school in the season of their activity.

OSMOND — The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) has announced the student recipients of the spring 2024 Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association (NCPA) Academic All-State Awards. Since 2006 this NSAA Awards Program has recognized students who meet the criteria for nomination by their school in the season of their activity.

Each year the NSAA and the NCPA recognize students during fall, winter, and spring seasons who are nominated by their schools for their individual academic excellence, leadership, and significant contributions in their NSAA activity.

Eight Osmond High School students were named to Academic All-State. Those named to the list this year are as follows: Golf — Baylen Guenther, Meagan Wagner Girls' track and field - Erica Hei man, Anabelle vinson Boys' track and field - Matthew Alderson, Owen Severson Music — Anna Kahny, Owen Severson Music Director Christalin Ginn commented, “I chose the top two seniors boy and girl in the music department. They had the best GPA.”

“All four are seniors that gave us great leadership and demonstrated how to prepare for success to our younger team members,” said track Coach Joe Ortmeier.
