FORDYCE – An informational meeting about the Cedar-Knox Rural Water Project will be held at 6 p.m. Jan. 9 for residents of Cedar and Knox counties.
The event will be held at the Menominee Parish Hall, 55770 894th Road, in rural Fordyce and feature an update on how the rural water project has been working on a plan to address disinfection byproduct production and secure a sustainable source of water for parts of northern Cedar and Knox counties.
There also will be information provided on well-field findings, distribution system upgrades, treatment scenarios and a long-term source to keep the rural water project as a strong and viable utility for generations to come.
