The Osmond boys' junior high track team competed in two meets during the past week.
Creighton Invitational
The Osmond boys competed at the Creighton relays on Thursday, April 18. The Tigers scored 22 points and finished in fifth place. The team champion was Neligh-Oakdale, followed by Wausa and Creighton.
This meet is all relays. The run - ning events are relays and in the field event you have 3 athletes on a team. They add up the distances of all three athletes to get a team total.
"With only six boys, we had to move some of the kids to events that they were not used to doing," said Coach Larry McKenna. "But everyone participated well and everyone was able to earn at least two ribbons."
