OSMOND — The 28th annual Osmond Golf tournament is in the books. Rolling Hills CC was again the site and 13 schools participated. Cold and windy conditions were prevalent for the entire day making scoring difficult.
Senior Baylen Guenther was a medal winner on the day with rounds of 43-46 for an 89 total and a 14th place finish in the 62 player field.
Freshman Kooper Gubbels made his
first varsity start and shot rounds of 48-50 for a 98 total and finished 30th overall. Sophomore Meagan Wagner shot rounds of 72-65 for a 137 total.
Also playing for the Tigers was Caydence Krienert 126, Tessa Gardner 137 and Erin Wagner 140.
Ponca was the team champion with a 326 total and also won top individual honors at 76. Osmond will play in the Hartington meet on Tuesday, April 23, and then play in the conference championships on Monday, April 29.
