The Osmond junior high boys’track team competed at Neligh-Oakdale and at Laurel-Concord-Coleridge during the past week.
Neligh-Oakdale Invite
The Osmond boys’junior high track team competed at the Neligh-Oakdale invitational on Friday, April 12. The Tigers scored 15 points and finished in 6th place out of the 6 teams competing.
Neligh-Oakdale was the team champion, followed by Riverside and Wausa. Medal winners for Osmond included Easton Steinkraus, sixth in the triple jump, fifth in the long jump and fourth in the 200 m. hurdles.
Aiden Stech finished fourth in the discus and Trenton Wiseley was fourth in the 200 m. dash. eam members this year include Easton Steinkraus, Aiden Stech, Trenton Wiseley, Lucas Arneson, Drake Kingham, and Bentley Frank.

LCC Invitational
The Osmond boys competed at the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Invite on Wednesday April 17. The Tigers competed hard but did not score any points. Wayne was the team champion followed by Stanton and Chambers Wheeler Central.
This was a big meet. The boys all competed well. The weather was cold and windy, but all the kids were still close to their season bests. It will be nice to see how they do with nicer weather.
