NORFOLK - Pierce High School finished ahead of West Point-Beemer in Class C and Howells-Dodge edged Bancroft-Rosalie in Class D in the Northeast Community College scho - lastic contest. Battle Creek finished third in Class C and O'Neill St. Mary's was third in Class D. There were more than 800 stu dents and 39 schools represented at the contest onThursday, March 28.
Medals were awarded to the top three
finishers in a variety of disciplines.
In Class D, the following Osmond
students placed in their respective competitions: Matthew Alderson, first in physics, first in trigonometry; James Doyle, first in computer lit - eracy; Jack Berg, second in biology; Juliana Kumm, third in accounting I; Ava Reikofski, third in agri-science; Tessa Gardner, third in drafting.
