HARTINGTON - The 2024 golf season got started with a triangular at Hartington Country Club played last Tuesday, April 9. Bloomfield and Har tington joined the Tigers for this nine-hole competition.
Baylen Guenther and Meagan Wagner played varsity spots while Tessa Gardner, Caydence Krienert and Erin Wagner played junior varsity. Baylen carded a 57 and Meagan carded a 72. In red tee play, Caydence shot 61, Tessa shot 68 and Erin shot 78.
Summerland Invitational The first major meet of the year was played at Summerland Golf Course last Wednesday, April 10. Fifteen teams with 70 players began play on the day.
Senior Baylen Guenther carded rounds of 50-50 for a 100 total to finish in 32nd place. Meagan shot rounds of 55-73 for a 128 total and finished in 59th spot.
Next action for the Tigers will be this weekend with the 28th annual play- ing of the Osmond invitational played at Rolling Hills Country Club with play starting at 9:30 a.m.
The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) and the Nebraska State College System (NSCS) are pleased to announce the 15,970 recipients of the 2023-2024 Nebraska State Colleges MultiActivity Student Award.
The award recognizes students in grades 9-12 who participate in at least three NSAA sanctioned activities during the academic year. Each high school student who participates in at least three NSAA activities will be recognized and awarded a certificate of achievement by the NSAA and the Nebraska State Colleges. Activity participation will be tracked using student eligibility lists, submitted to the NSAA by each member school. The top schools in four classes will be determined based on the percentage of multi-activity student award winners compared to the total number of students in grades 9-12.
The NSAA and the NSCS are also thrilled to highlight the four high schools with the most multiactivity students. These high schools will be presented with a banner at the NSAA State Soccer Championships in May to display at their school.

Osmond placed seventh in Class D with an enrollment of 60 students and a multi-activity student count of 45.
